HOME > Products > Water Intake Facility > TWS    ■ DESCRIPTION Traveling Water Screen is a device to remove debris from the cooling water supplied through intake channel. Debris, separated by screen mesh, is removed by the water jet spray. T.W.S. is made up of supporting frame section and rotating part section. Series of screens are forming an endless loop by head sprocket and chain roller. The foot sprocket guides carrier chains to maintain their path. The head shaft location can be corrected in case there is a bending of screen panel loop occurs. The head shaft is rotated with head sprocket and drive sprocket. Screen basket is assembled with a set of endless carrier chain.
